Tim Tebow is a smash hit with his motivating commencement speeches at Trine University and the University of Florida
Legendary athlete, sports analyst, and philanthropist TIM TEBOW is known for his inspiring keynote speaking, and he made a major impact with his commencement addresses at both Trine University and his alma mater, the University of Florida. The Trine University president introduced him saying, “Tim Tebow is not only one of the greatest athletes of his generation, he is also an inspirational leader to millions. Since launching the Tim Tebow Foundation in 2010, his work has touched countless lives, both in this country and in the Philippines. We look forward to having him share his unique personal story and the passion that drives him to serve others.” The author of multiple New York Times bestselling books, including his most recent Mission Possible: Go Create a Life That Counts, shared how he grew up as a homeschooled, dyslexic kid who struggled with reading, highlighting the tremendous growth that’s possible when you commit to your dreams. With sincere enthusiasm, Tebow came out from behind podium to speak directly to the students, empowering them to see this as the beginning of their opportunity to make an impact on the world around them: “When I look at you, I see difference-makers, I see impact, I see change, I see purpose.”
More than 50,000 people attended the University of Florida graduation ceremony, where Tebow graced the crowd with humor, encouragement, and emotion. While he wished the graduating class success, he went beyond that and galvanized the students to “be successful, but also be significant.” Speaking about his humanitarian work through the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF) whose mission is to bring faith, hope, and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need, he emphasized the importance of doing good that benefits others. Tebow’s passion as a keynote speaker is contagious, and makes a memorable impact with audiences of all kinds.
