When the rules of global trade are being rewritten, Kirsten Hillman is in the room.
As Canada’s Ambassador to the United States, she managed one of the world’s most important economic relationships through volatility, political turnover, and shifting trade doctrine. Trusted across party lines, she became a steady hand in Washington at a time when stability was anything but guaranteed.
She helped shape major international agreements, including the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and played a key role in delivering USMCA—one of the most closely watched trade negotiations in recent history.
On stage, she breaks down what global uncertainty actually means for leaders, offering a clear, experience-backed view of how to navigate risk, protect partnerships, and make decisions when the landscape keeps changing.
Justin Trudeau’s tenure as Canada's 23rd Prime Minister coincided with a period of unprecedented global challenge and change.
After leading the third-place Liberal Party of Canada to a historic majority government in 2015, Trudeau set about delivering an ambitious agenda that included appointing Canada’s first gender-balanced cabinet, launching a national $10-a-day childcare program, lifting over two million Canadians out of poverty, including almost three-quarters of a million children, advancing Indigenous reconciliation, and taking robust action to fight climate change, including through policies that attracted investment in clean economic growth and jobs.
Confronted with a series of global economic and security shocks, including Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the COVID-19 pandemic, Trudeau worked to address international and domestic issues through bold, decisive action while continuing to deliver on a progressive vision for Canada. The former Prime Minister has amassed powerful insights into societal resilience, high-stakes international diplomacy, the promotion of shared economic growth, and driving meaningful, lasting change.
Before entering politics, Trudeau studied literature at McGill University, completed the University of British Columbia's education program, and spent several years teaching in Vancouver. He also served as the Chair of Katimavik, on the board for the Canadian Avalanche Foundation, and as an advocate for youth and the environment, taking part in events and conferences around the country.
Trudeau has received numerous international awards including the Atlantic Council's Global Citizen Award, National Geographic's Planetary Leadership Award, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Global Leadership Award, Rotary International's Polio Eradication Champion Award and Women Moving Millions' Gender Equality Champion Award.

- State Department Correspondent, Fox News Channel, Two-Time NYT Bestselling Author of 'SAVED' and 'Resolute'
Few journalists have faced the kind of recovery Benjamin Hall had to fight through. While reporting on the war in Ukraine in 2022, the veteran correspondent was critically wounded when his vehicle was struck by incoming fire outside Kyiv. Two members of his team were killed. Hall endured multiple surgeries and a long recovery before returning home to his family, a journey he recounts in his bestselling memoir Saved: A War Reporter’s Mission to Make It Home and continues in Resolute, another bestseller. His story has become a powerful example of resilience in the face of unimaginable loss and adversity.
Before that moment, Hall spent years covering conflict around the world. As a Senior Correspondent for Fox News Channel, he has reported from Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, documenting war and diplomacy from the ground rather than a studio. Those years reporting from the front lines gave him a rare perspective on courage and endurance long before he was forced to draw on those qualities himself. He is also the author of the bestselling children’s book Read All About It!
On stage, Hall reflects on survival, recovery, and the mindset required to rebuild after everything changes in an instant. He brings audiences closer to the human realities behind global events while offering a deeply personal perspective on resilience, perseverance, and the determination required to move forward after hardship.
