Victor Fontanez us a 23 year old motivational speaker, entrepreneur and barber from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Vic started cutting hair in his mother’s garage his senior year of high school as a supposed side hustle. This side hustle quickly turned passion, then passion turned to purpose. Within 5 years Vic has become the most famous barber in the world, has amassed more than 18 million social media followers, as well as become the leading motivational voice of the new generation.
Vic has quickly rose to international success aside from TikTok, by becoming the lead talent in Rockstar’s Latinx Equity Campaign this year that aired during the NBA Finals. Giving back to his community and leaving a legacy are two major pillars for Vic, which prompted him to launch Vic Blends Academy. The Vic Blends Academy is an online curriculum for the next generation of barbers. Thousands of inspired fans and students have already signed up. His passion for bettering the community only grew from there. Vic announced the launch of the first licensed barber schools in California Prison history. This program will give prisoners the opportunity to obtain their barbers licenses while incarcerated with hopes of setting them up for success upon release. He also self-funds and hosts an annual giveback to his home-town in Fayetteville that gives thousands of family’s supplies they need during the holiday. Last year, he received the key to his hometown from the mayor at the give-back.
