Learnings from Nate Berkus on Malcolm Gladwell’s “Revisionist History”

Interior design legend NATE BERKUS sat down with Malcolm Gladwell on his podcast, Revisionist History, for an enlightening conversation covering travel, moms, prestige TV, and the positive mental impact of good design. Boldly sharing the life experiences fueling his all-star interior design career, Berkus recalled watching his mother (also an interior designer) work while carrying her samples and vintage finds.

Berkus also touched on the importance of a curious mindset and maintaining the ability to get lost. Berkus shared, “In any creative endeavor, if you’ve made decisions about how things need to be or should be, you’re missing every other bright, shiny thing you can reach down and pick up and incorporate.”
