Jeremy Pope is an Emmy, Golden Globe, Grammy and two time, Tony Nominated Performer who Stars on and serves as an Executive Producer on the hit FX Series, THE BEAUTY, created by Ryan Murphy. The series is the number one show on both Hulu and Disney +.
Pope earned critical praise for his leading performance in the feature film, THE INSPECTION, for A24. For his performance, Jeremy was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the “Best Actor - Feature” category, as well as an Independent Spirit Award in the “Lead Performance” Category and received the “Distinguished Performance” Award at the SCAD Film Festival as well as the “Virtuoso Award” at the Santa Barbara FIlm Festival. Gracing the cover of Variety, he was also named to their “10 Actors to Watch in 2022” and included on “Entertainment Weekly’s Must List.”
Jeremy served on the host committee of the 2025 Met Gala, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, that explored the importance of sartorial style to the formation of Black identities.
Pope released his EP entitled LAST NAME: POPE consisting of six original soulful records that he wrote and produced. Additionally, he released his short film GOD IS GOOD directed by C. Prinz and choreographed by award winning choreographer Parris Goebel that is available on The Criterion Channel.
Pope showcased his photojournalism series, FLEX(bitch) at The SCOPE Art Show during Art Basel in Miami. This series explores Pope’s journey to manhood, masculinity, and self-love.
Pope starred on Broadway as “Jean-Michel Basquiat” opposite Paul Bettany as “Andy Warhol” in THE COLLABORATION. Pope originated the role at London’s The Young Vic Theater and can be seen in the forthcoming feature film adaptation written by four time Oscar Nominee, Anthony McCarten.
THE COLLABORATION marked Pope’s return to Broadway after making history earning two Tony Award Nominations in the same season for “Best Lead Actor in a Play” and “Best Supporting Actor in a Musical” for his work on CHOIR BOY and AIN’T TOO PROUD.
Jeremy Pope starred in Netflix’s HOLLYWOOD, a performance that earned him an Emmy Award nomination for "Best Actor in a Limited Series" and an African American Film Critics Association "Breakout Performer" Award and he can be seen in the final season of the Emmy nominated television series, POSE.
Whether it's walking the runway for Gucci or Rihanna's, Savage Fenty, Pope continues to make a cultural impact in the fashion space. Pope has starred in Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2024 Campaign, was the face of Calvin Klein’s Iconic Pride Campaign, and starred in designer Brandon Maxwell’s collection for Free Assembly.
Pope's single, Worth a Million which premiered exclusively with Vogue, a project that Pope collaborated on with choreographer Parris Goebel and director C Prinz.
Pope is the recipient of GLAAD’s Stephen F. Kolzak Award for having made “a significant difference in raising visibility and promoting acceptance of LGBTQ people and issues.
