Chris Finch has transformed the Minnesota Timberwolves into one of the NBA's most formidable teams since being named head coach. In the 2023-24 season, Finch guided the Timberwolves to the Western Conference Finals—the franchise's deepest playoff run in years—and earned recognition as head coach of the 2024 NBA All-Star Game. Under Finch's leadership, the Timberwolves have achieved the highest regular-season winning percentage in franchise history (.566) and have made the playoffs in each of his first four full seasons—a remarkable turnaround for a team that had made the playoffs only once in the previous 17 years.
