Women’s Empowerment
Many of MARTINA MCBRIDE’s popular songs discuss womanhood in today’s world- the struggles, the victories and the possibilities. As a successful artist, entrepreneur, and business woman, McBride inspires women to make the leap into what’s possible, to lean on the network of women – and men – who support them, and to be the boss of their own success. Her talks can also be accompanied by a song or two, if requested.
Surviving and Preventing Domestic Abuse
Raised in a small town where domestic violence was not talked about, when MARTINA MCBRIDE began creating music, breaking the stigma around discussing domestic violence was important to her. With her single “Independence Day” in 1993, she began discussions about surviving and preventing domestic abuse that carry into today, alongside her nonprofit and philanthropy work. McBride speaks to audiences about the danger of abusive relationships, breaking the cycle, patterns of abusive dating, and getting the word out.
Multiple Grammy® nominee Martina McBride has sold over 23 million albums to date, which includes 20 Top 10 singles and six #1 hits.
