Beanie Feldstein is an American actress and singer. She received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical for her starring role as a high school senior in Olivia Wilde's directorial debut comedy Booksmart. She also starred in the film adaptation of Caitlin Moran's How to Build a Girl in 2020. She can also be seen in supporting roles in Greta Gerwig's directorial debut Lady Bird, opposite Saoirse Ronan, which was released to critical acclaim and the comedy film Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.
On Broadway, she has appeared in the most recent production of Hello, Dolly! alongside Bette Midler from 2017 to 2018.
She is currently producing and starring as Monica Lewinsky in FX’s American Crime Story: Impeachment. As a writer, Beanie has published essays in Refinery 29, Instyle and the book Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and other Lies).
She graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Sociology.
