Creator, writer, director, and producer Ash Perez is multi-hyphenate artist working across mediums to tell powerful and uplifting stories. A queer first generation American himself, Ash is focused on telling underrepresented stories in every genre, and shares insights about finding success as a multi-hyphenate creative, overcoming challenges, and how storytelling can create connection and community.
Ash is a creator, writer, director, and producer. He is currently developing their original series, THE YOUNGEST ONE, with Lionsgate and ABC. Ash was a Co-Producer on ABC’s HOME ECONOMICS, a Story Editor on Freeform’s GOOD TROUBLE, and a creator for Buzzfeed. He also served as a Senior Producer on the Biden/Harris campaign, where he co-directed and co-produced “Michelle Obama’s Closing Argument.” A queer first-generation American himself, Ash is focused on telling underrepresented stories in every genre. Their passion lies in comedy, romance, and YA. On the non-fiction side they have a book, Read This For Inspiration, published with Clarkson Potter.
