Abigail is a New York Times best-selling author, a filmmaker, and a woman-in-tech leader specializing in artificial intelligence, as well as a wife and mother of two. Abigail is a frequent speaker on topics of leadership, equity, representation, ethics and creative careers, including keynotes at the National Conference of State Legislatures, US Presidential Scholars, Y’Allfest, as well as talks with Talks at Google, San Diego Comic Con, LA Comic Con, the California Commonwealth Club (with Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland and Deb Liu, CEO Ancestry), META, Facebook AI, Paypal, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Target, Twitch, The League of California Cities, Munger Tolle, as well as Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Dartmouth and Berkeley among other venues.

Abigail penned the New York Times bestselling novel, Loveboat, Taipei and companion novels. She serves as executive producer for the film adaptation Love in Taipei, now on Netflix, and directed her first short film, The Vale — Origins, starring Lea Salonga, a prequel to her novel The Vale.

Abigail holds a BA from Harvard, JD from Columbia and MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. In her career in tech, she has negotiated multibillion-dollar deals on Wall Street and in Silicon Valley, worked in venture capital and hosted Intel’s Artificial Intelligence podcast featuring leading industry experts including Andrew Ng, Facebook's Chief AI Scientist Yann LeCun and US Congresswoman Robin Kelly. She also served with the Partnership on AI. Forbes describes her as, “One of the most respected voices in fairness and AI.”

Her works include multiple novels for young people, including a graphic novel exploring cognitive diversity, as well as original film and TV projects. She serves on the board of Harvardwood, is a member of Dan Lin’s Rideback Rise Circle 2025 and served as a judge for the Golden Trailer Awards recognizing the industry’s most outstanding film trailers. Abigail lives with her husband and two children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
