Known by her online name @CookingWithLynja, Lynn Davis is everyone’s most beloved cooking grandma on the social media app TikTok. What started as a simple quarantine pastime to help her youngest son Tim sharpen his videography skills has transformed into an explosion of popularity over the past 2 years. With a reach of over 19M across her social platforms, she resonates with the Gen Z audience by adding meme-able humor alongside her mesmerizing cooking content. Davis is passionate about making cooking more accessible, as she didn’t do much herself until recent years. Graduating with a degree in civil engineering from MIT, the beginning of her career was spent working for the federal government, helping make federal buildings accessible before earning her MBA and MPH at Columbia. She then transitioned to AT&T Labs doing systems engineering for a medical record system, which led to a 29-year career that ended with a position as a project manager for software projects. With her unique background, passion experimenting with something new, and her humor, Davis makes every speaking engagement a memorable event.

Davis partnered with fellow food creator and former MasterChef contestant Nick Digiovanni to create the world’s largest chicken nugget, which was certified by the Guinness World Records. The duo had previously broken another culinary record by making the world’s largest cake pop, which weighed in at a staggering 97 pounds. Davis and Digiovanni have continued their record-breaking journey, most recently traveling to 69 restaurants in 24 hours, crushing the previous records of 50 restaurants in one day. Thanks to her son Tim’s elite editing skills, Davis won the Streamy Award for Best Editing in 2021, and her videos have amassed over 3B views across all her platforms. Beyond her incredible skills in the kitchen (and on social media), she loves staying active - she has completed eight marathons - and has beaten throat cancer twice, most recently in 2020. In highly engaging events, Davis shares insights from her journey and makes a major impact with audiences of all kinds.
