James Veitch Hosts "Q Talks" on Quibi

Viral comedy sensation JAMES VEITCH is making headlines for the show, Q Talks, he is going to host on Quibi-- the ultra buzzed-about forthcoming digital shortform outlet. A comedy talk show, Q Talks will have celebrity speakers give expert talks — on topics they’ve never heard before, from a script they’ve never seen before, presented to them via a rigged teleprompter.

Biography

Responsible for the third most viewed talk of all time on ted.com, comedian and writer James Veitch has become renowned for his unashamedly nerdy and hilarious stand up material. A former Apple Store Genius, Veitch’s comedy is high-tech: picking apart, parodying (and pranking) the fast-advancing and perplexing technology we live with. His live shows have explored technology, retro-gaming, and finding love through troubleshooting theory.

He has written and performed two viral hit seasons of his show Scamalot with Mashable, made two appearances on TBS’ Conan and also supported him on his national tour in 2018. 

James made his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in March 2019, and hosted the BAFTA Britannia Awards in October 2019. He recently filmed his first stand up special at the Avalon Theater in Los Angeles, produced by Conan O’Brien and Conaco which will air on HBO Max in 2020. Originally published in the U.K. to great acclaim in 2015, his book, Dot Con: The art of scamming a scammer, comes out in June in the states via Hachette Books.
