Heben Nigatu is a writer, producer, and cultural critic based in Brooklyn, NY. In 2016, she was named one of Forbes ' 30 under 30 in Media, Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business, Brooklyn Magazine' s 50 Funniest People, Marie Clare 's 50 Most Influential Women, and The Root' s 100 Most Influential African-Americans. 

She is the co-host of the podcast Another Round (currently on hiatus), which Elle Magazine described as, "one of the Internet’s most beloved podcasts." The critically-acclaimed show has featured such high-profile guests as Hillary Clinton, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Valerie Jarrett, and Ta-Nehisi Coates. It was named one of the best podcasts of 2015 by Apple; the Guardian; The Atlantic; New York Magazine; Slate; and many more.

She previously worked at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she produced new segments like Barbershop Stories, Hey White People, and other collaborations with guests like Chance the Rapper and Ziggy Marley.
