Announcing Eric Nam’s Virtual College Tour!

ERIC NAM is a mega superstar in Korea, was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 and a GQ Man of the Year. While that is phenomenal, he takes it all in stride and connects with his (huge and devoted) fan base beyond the music.

As a student at Boston College, Atlanta-born Nam focused on international studies and social justice issues and was a hyperactive member on campus, even receiving a Momentum Award from The Heights for his work starting the Boston chapter of an Asian American platform. With a job offer in hand from Deloitte Consulting, he chose to pursue his dreams of becoming an entertainer with a pitstop in India for a social enterprise fellowship.

So, while it may be a surprise to some that a K-Pop superstar wants to have conversations about how his generation is going to solve some of our biggest challenges, Nam keeps his curiosity high and the conversations going. In enabling these conversations, Eric co-founded DIVE Studios, where he hosts multiple podcasts and fans tune in to hear his insightful, meaningful conversations covering everything from the environment to the impact of Covid-19 on communities, and yes…some fun pop culture talk. His interviews are sharp and relevant, like the one he recently did with Dr. Jim Yong Kim, former President of the World Bank and co-founder of Partners in Health who called Nam a "uniquely gifted communicator," or Congressman Andy Kim. He has also spoken with artists such as Will Smith, Robert Downey Junior and Jamie Foxx about their creative processes and their passions, helping his fanbase identify the spark inside themselves as they make their mark on the world.

Given the size of Nam’s fanbase, his music sales and his social media following, it is no surprise that Nam is a huge draw for College audiences. His talks empower and inspire the next generation of change makers as he discusses his experience as an Asian American and the thrill of creating goals and taking risks, staying grateful and curious, and choosing a path with purpose.
