From there, he moved into the closet of a gym to start his organization that focused on training and equipping young kids in the heart of the South Central housing projects where the movie, Training Day, was filmed.

Joshua went on to found Train to be CLUTCH, whose focus is a heart's first approach to leadership, life skills and mental training. He has written three highly acclaimed books: Burn Your Goals: The Counter Cultural Approach to Achieving Your Greatest Potential, Train to be CLUTCH 101; and An Impractical Guide to Transformational Leadership.

Joshua created the first mental training apps in the world for basketball, soccer and golf. He serves as the director of mental training for UCLA women’s basketball. His list of clients includes people from the NFL, NBA, PGA, LPGA, MLS, MLB, and Fortune 500 companies. He is the second person ever to be invited to work with the greatest dynasty in college sports on mental training, the 22 time National Champion University of North Carolina Women’s Soccer program. Joshua has the unique position of mentoring highly talented millennials as well as baby boomers with decades of invaluable experience, and he is able to share case studies and the latest scientific research on maximizing human performance in a multi-generational workplace through engaging and unbelievable stories.
