Alex Sheen is the founder of because I said I would, the international social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through the importance of a promise. Inspired by his father, Alex began sending promise cards to anyone who requested them at no cost. Since his father’s death on September 4th, 2012, because I said I wouldhas sent over 2.4M promises cards to over 150 different countries around the world. Through the viral nature of social media, Alex has reached millions of people by dedicating himself to philanthropy.
