Vicki Iovine is the deliriously happy and chronically overwhelmed mother of four children (Five if you count her husband, and what wife doesn’t?). Along with being a mother, Iovine is the celebrated author of the highly successful Girlfriends’ Guide series which immediately found its niche with the incredibly popular Girlfriends’ Guide to Pregnancy. While raising four kids is full-time work, Ms. Iovine, now 50 (“but a very youthful, slim and sizzle-sexy 50,” she has pitifully insisted on adding) has been a columnist for several magazines including a monthly column in Child magazine that addresses mothering concerns a bi-monthly column for Redbook on marriage and relationships and a weekly column devoted family life in the Sunday Los Angeles Times. She was also the parenting contributor for Today, and has appeared several times on Oprah, Good Morning America and The View.
