acclaim, Mr. Burns’ work earned him four Emmy Awards, two Grammy
Awards, the Clarion Award, The Television Critic’s Award for Outstanding
Achievement in Sports and Special Programming, Producer of the Year
Award from the Producer's Guild, People's Choice Award, Peabody Award,
and others. His latest work, The War, retells the story of WWII
through the intimate lens of over 40 servicemen and women.
