Feminist Icon Gloria Steinem

The iconic pioneer of the modern feminist movement, Gloria Steinem has dedicated decades of work to fighting for social equality.

Yet at 80 years old, Steinem shows no signs of slowing down. She continues to be a highly sought-after speaker and powerful voice for social justice.

In honor of her birthday last month, Gail Collins of theNew York Times wrote an inspirational op-ed that captured the essence of why Steinem is the "face of feminism."

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts was thrilled with Steinem after a recent engagement that drew in 700 people: "Gloria was an engaged, flexible, willing, and delightful speaker to have on campus. The turnout was tremendous. All in all, it was a fantastic event and we couldn't be more pleased with Gloria and the Harry Walker Agency."

What Meeting Planners are saying about Gloria Steinem:

"Gloria was phenomenal. She was gracious, spent so much time talking individually to our girls and faculty, and was a tremendous in delivering her keynote address. We very much enjoyed her humor, calm, and approach to the visit."

- Chatham Hall

"She was energetic yet eloquent, passionate and powerful. She brought tears to the eyes of many who were present, so much so that many of the almost 1,200 people who came signed up to get involved in our important work. She was a huge draw! She was on topic, seemed very passionate about our mission and encouraged everyone there to take a stand and make a difference."
